Iran Offers Diplomatic Support to Resolve Dispute Between Saudi Arabia and Yemen

Iran has offered to use its diplomatic resources to help resolve the dispute between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, saying it is prepared to facilitate efforts to reduce tensions if both sides request assistance.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei outlined Tehran’s position while speaking to journalists about relations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Baghaei rejected allegations that Iran was responsible for retaliatory operations carried out by Yemen against Saudi Arabia. He reiterated that Tehran remained willing to use diplomatic channels and its available resources to support efforts aimed at ending the dispute.
