The web version of the world’s most popular video sharing platform, YouTube, is being redesigned.

Yes, if you are used to watching YouTube on your computer or laptop, you will soon notice a significant change.

The web version of the Google-owned video sharing service is getting a redesign. In fact, YouTube has also started introducing a new design. This new design is now available to limited YouTube Premium users.

Testing of the new design began in April 2024 and received mixed response from customers, following which the company has made some changes.

The new user interface is improving the video viewing experience and content discovery.

Full details about the new design have not been revealed yet, but areas like video title, uploader information, comments and recommended are being changed. Apparently, the design will feel quite similar to YouTube’s TV app.

The company may make further changes to the design after taking into account the limited customer feedback before it will be rolled out on a larger scale.

The new design will be tested till July 1, after which it could be rolled out to all users possibly by August.
