PM asks his team to finalize Education Policy at the earliest.

He issued directives in this regard, while chairing a meeting in Islamabad for the promotion of education.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to finalize the proposed education policy at the earliest in consultation with provinces and other stakeholders.

In this connection, he also called for formulating a comprehensive roadmap in line with the requirements of modern times to promote education.

Furthermore, the PM called for use of technology in the education system and skilled education.

He said the roadmap should be implemented after clearly identifying priorities and goals.

Prime Minister reiterating his resolve to take every possible measure for the promotion of education in the country.

He further highlighted education as the top priority of the government.

Meanwhile, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood apprised the meeting about reforms in the education sector.

He also briefed about steps with the regard to distance language in wake of COVID-19 pandemic and various other measures to improve education sector.

Moreover, Dr Atta-ur-Rehman presented suggestions proposed on strategic action plan.

Meanwhile, PM sought out of box solution for reducing burden of indirect taxes.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed government economic team, while chairing a meeting in Islamabad Monday.

The meeting held to review steps to bring down prices of essential commodities.

He asked them to suggest out-of-box solutions for reducing burden of indirect taxes.

Besides, the PM also asked them to ensure balance between state revenue and expenditure.
