PM notes rule of law inevitable for survival of society.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said a society cannot survive without rule of law; particularly, when the powerful and corrupt elites not held accountable for their misdeeds.

He expressed these views, while talking to the media after laying the foundation stone of low-cost housing units under Naya Pakistan Housing Programme in Sargodha.

The PM further said unless a society decides to hold the corrupt accountable, no change, progress or prosperity can take place in the country.

He said that the issues of poverty and price hike in the country are the outcome of the corruption by the corrupt leaders in the past.

Moreover, he said provision of affordable housing to poor people has been made possible with the cooperation of banks.

He said the government is providing 300,000 rupees subsidy on each housing unit. Besides, he noted the interest rates also reduced to enable the aspirants to pay minimum monthly instalments.
