PTI announces to sit in opposition in Centre, Punjab

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced not to form the governments in the Centre and Punjab.

A high-level delegation of PTI led by Asad Qaiser arrived at Qaumi Watan Party chief Aftab Sherpao’s house in Islamabad where they were received by Ahmed Nawaz Khan Jadoon.

In the meeting, both the parties discussed issues related to the elections, while the PTI delegation conveyed the message of PTI founder to Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao.

According to the sources, PTI leaders told the delegation of Qaumi Watan Party that the general elections were rigged across the country and sought their cooperation in protests. However, Aftab Sherpao expressed his concerns over rigging in in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

After the meeting, talking to the media along with the Sikandar Hayat Sherpao, Barrister Saif said that PTI had decided to sit in the opposition in the Centre and Punjab in the larger interest of the country.

I am grateful to Aftab Sherpao and Sikandar Sherpao, he said.

On this occasion, the central leader of Qaumi Watan Party Sikandar Hayat Sherpao said that it is a good effort for political parties to sit together on domestic and political issues.
