PM Shehbaz, President Zardari Praise Forces for Successful Kalat Operation

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operation against terrorists in the Kalat area of ​​Balochistan.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operation against terrorists on the Pakistan Highway (Chaman-Karachi, N-25) near Kalat.

The Prime Minister said that the security forces killed five terrorists in a timely and effective action and rescued 23 kidnapped people from the terrorists’ hideout, which is commendable.

He said that the security forces foiled the nefarious attempt by the terrorists to disrupt the peaceful movement of people on the national highway, kidnap for ransom, extort money and snatch vehicles through timely action.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the professionalism of the security forces for recovering a large number of arms, ammunition and explosives, including six trucks, three buses and two vehicles, from the possession of the terrorists.

The statement further said that under Operation Azam-e-Istaq, decisive actions against terrorism will continue and terrorism sponsored and supported by foreign countries will be completely eradicated.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operation against the Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists in Kalat.

The Interior Minister said that the security forces acted with courage and bravery and safely rescued 23 civilians. The nation stands by the security forces in the war against terrorism.
