Lack of Facilities Under PTI Rule Revives Memories of Former FATA System
The tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are facing a shortage of development projects and basic facilities, with residents expressing concerns over the provincial government’s performance during the PTI rule.
Residents of the tribal districts say funds allocated for these areas are being affected by political disputes within the provincial government.
They have demanded that funds allocated for the tribal districts be spent directly on these areas instead of being routed through the provincial government.
According to residents, districts including Kurram, Orakzai, Mohmand and Bajaur lack basic facilities such as clean drinking water, roads, education and healthcare.
Residents believe that restoring the previous administrative system of the tribal districts could help resolve local problems more quickly.
