In a first, Aseefa Bhutto – Pakistan’s First Lady

President Asif Ali Zardari has made a principled decision to make his daughter Aseefa Bhutto Zardari the First Lady, a status which is usually given to spouse of a president.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari will be given the status of the First Lady. According to Pakistan People’s Party, President Asif Zardari will officially declare Aseefa Bhutto as the First Lady.
Once declared, Aseefa will be given the First Lady protocol and she will be the first First Lady who is the daughter of a president.
Usually, the status of the First Lady goes to the wife.
For the general elections on February 8, Aseefa Bhutto ran a nationwide election campaign for the Pakistan People’s Party and supported her brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Aseefa, born on February 3, 1993, is a part of the political family of Pakistan’s largest political party Pakistan People’s Party. She is the youngest daughter of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
