Businessmen to be brought into tax net: minister

The business community will also be brought into the tax net, says finance minister.
The salaried-class is also included in the tax net, Muhammad Aurangzeb told a gathering here today.
He said that the government can only give policy. The work of the government is to make policy while the work is to be done by the private sector.
The finance minister said that revenue target has been set at Rs94 trillion.
Tax net has to be started from a certain point. With the view to get out of crisis, the private sector has to take a lead, he added.
The finance minister said that the current account and budget deficit must be eliminated.
