Gaza War: Top Israeli general meets Arab counterparts in US
Top Israeli occupation’s top general, Herzi Halevi, met several of his Arab counterparts in Bahrain amid prevailing situation in Gaza.
According to Axios, the military leaders discussed regional security cooperation in the meeting earlier this week.
US General Michel E. Kurilla, and senior generals from Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt were also present during the meeting.
The meeting was kept low key due to “regional sensitivities” surrounding the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza.
One purpose of the meeting was to indicate the continuity of Israeli-Arab military communication and cooperation under CENTCOM, despite mounting criticism of “Israel’s” conduct in the genocide in Gaza.
The US considered the interception of Iran’s retaliatory missile strike against the Israeli occupation on April 14 as a manifestation of these efforts, according to Axios.
The US officials stated that it was Israeli and Arab cooperation that allowed intelligence and information to be obtained to anticipate the Iranian operation.
