Parts of Karachi receive rain, drizzle

Weather turns pleasant after parts of Karachi receive light rain, GTV reported Saturday.
Malir, Quaidabad, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Saddar, Gulshah-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar and adjoining areas received rainfall as the city passing through an intensely hot weather.
The rain also lashed Defence, Clifton, Gizri, Steel Town, Shah Latif Town, Ahsanabad and adjoining areas.
The Met Office in a fresh weather report on Saturday said that the monsoon currents entering in Sindh and predicted medium rainfall with thunderstorm in Krachi today.
Though, the Metrological Department forecasted that weather would remain hot and humid in the city.
It also said that light rainfall is also expected in Karachi on Sunday and Monday, according to the weather department.
The weather has been partly cloudy as mercury could soar to 37 Celsius today with humidity ratio has been 79 pct in the air.
