Mohsin Naqvi set to get key post in ACC

Mohsin Naqvi is set to assume another major post in the Asian Cricket Council as Pakistan have been granted the authority to chair the President.
The decision was made in the annual ACC meeting held in Bali earlier this year in January. His term as present is set to begin in January 2025.
He will serve at this post for two years, leading the council’s initiatives and activities across the continent.
The meeting also granted Jay Shah, the current ACC President, a one-year extension.
The extension ensures continuity in leadership until the transition to the new president takes place.
Currently, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi also holds the portfolio of an Interior Minister.
