Railways decreases fare for all classes

Pakistan Railways has announced to reduce fares for all classes of its trains, a notification confirmed Saturday.

The 10 percent reduction in fares applies to both AC and economy classes. The fare for mail trains also reduced as well.

According to an official notification, the new fare structure will come into effect starting September 23.

This move is part of the government’s efforts to make train travel more affordable and accessible masses.
