Gold rates drop in Pakistan for second day in a row

The local gold market has witnessed a significant decline in prices in line with the downward trend in international gold prices.
On Friday, 24-carat gold prices per tola fell by Rs2,500, settling at Rs284,700.

24-carat gold price per 10 grams: Rs244,084 (down Rs2,144)
Silver price per tola: Rs3,430 (down Rs20)
Silver price per 10 grams: Rs2,940.67 (down Rs17.14)
International gold price per ounce: $2,752 (down $25)
Experts attribute the price drop to the decline in international gold prices, which fell by $25 per ounce to $2,752. This global market fluctuation has had a direct impact on Pakistan’s gold and silver prices.
The international bullion market has experienced volatility in recent weeks, influencing local gold and silver prices. Investors and buyers are advised to remain informed about market fluctuations.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market also decreased, with the price per tola dropping by Rs20 to Rs3,430. The price for 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs17.14, reaching Rs2,940.67.
