Former tennis star Sania Mirza appointed sports ambassador for Dubai

Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has been appointed as sports ambassador by Dubai Sports Council.
Sharing some pictures of the event organized by Dubai Sports Council, Sania Mirza wrote, “It is an honour to be a sports ambassador for Dubai.”

Sania Mirza said that she is grateful to Dubai Sports Council for providing this incredible opportunity.
Apart from Sania Mirza, UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, many other notable personalities from the world of sports also participated in this event.
It should be noted that the Dubai Sports Council was founded in 2005, which is the government body responsible for the development of the sports sector in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The council oversees the work of 7 local sports clubs in Dubai and is also active in encouraging sports activities in the society, especially among women and children.
