PTI protest: Bushra Bibi, Gandapur ‘evade arrest’

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reportedly fled D-Chowk as authorities launched grand operation against protestors.
According to reports, about 450 PTI supporters were nabbed by Islamabad policer during the operation.
The law enforcement agencies have successfully cleared the Bule Area, Khyber Chowk and Kulsoom Plaza from PTI protesters.
Police fired tear gas shells at the protestors amid skirmishes between security personnel and protesters.
However, both Bushra Bibi and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur fled in the same vehicle as an Islamabad police squad pursued them.
PTI Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram confirmed that KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi are safe, according to the information he received from sources he did not disclose.
