Gold prices drop locally, globally
Gold Hits Record High as Prices Rise by Rs10,000 Per Tola - Check New Rates
Gold prices saw a drop in both global and local markets on Saturday.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $3, settling at $2,632.
Locally, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs300, reaching Rs274,400. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs257, bringing it down to Rs235,254.
Despite the decline in gold prices, silver rates remained unchanged in the local market. The price of one tola of silver stayed steady at Rs3,400, while 10 grams of silver remained at Rs2,914.95.
This decrease in gold prices follows a similar trend observed on Friday, when the prices of gold in Pakistan dropped in line with global trends.
On Friday, the price of gold per tola in the local market fell by Rs1,000,
