Sindh govt announces holiday on November 1
Winter vacations have been scheduled for educational institutions across Sindh and Punjab.
In Sindh, the vacation for both public and private schools and colleges will run from December 22 to December 31, 2024, with institutions reopening on January 1, 2025.
This schedule follows a decision made during the Sub-Committee meeting of the Steering Committee on Education held on January 25, 2024, under the chairmanship of the Sindh Education Minister.
Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Department has set its winter break from December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025, with schools reopening on January 13, 2025.
Both provinces have now officially confirmed the winter break dates, allowing students time for the seasonal holidays.
