Former Punjab minister for Mines and Minerals Ibrahim Hassan Murad has claimed that a massive gold deposit discovered in Pakistan.
According to him, an estimated 2.8 million tolas of gold valued at Rs800 billion was discovered in Attock, which was confirmed through extensive research.
The recent gold reserve is spread across 32-kilometers in the city.
The “groundbreaking” discovery, has been validated by the Geological Survey of Pakistan.
“This revelation, validated by the Geological Survey of Pakistan, highlights the immense potential of Punjab’s natural resources,” Murad wrote in a post on X, detailing about the discovery.
The Geological Survey of Pakistan also confirmed the development after surveying the area and from 127 sites.
“This milestone marks a significant step towards unlocking Pakistan’s mineral wealth, setting the stage for economic revitalisation and new opportunities for future generations,” he said.
