Nintendo Switch 2 announcement expected today

Nintendo is likely to announce its next handheld gaming console named the Switch 2 in the next few hours.
For those following news about the much-awaited console, there’s very little that would come as a surprise for them. Many already know that the Switch 2, or whatever Nintendo decides to name it, will run most if not all games available on Switch. It will have a much more powerful chipset compared to the now seven-year-old handheld.
In the Switch 2, the biggest change we will see may be how the Joy-Con controllers connect to its body. As compared to the current implementation, in which the controllers slot into the body using a rail system, the coming console is stated to feature electromagnetic connectors that should make it easier to attach them.
According to indication by Genki’s recent 3D model, the Switch 2 will be bigger in size than the current model. As a result, the size of the Joy-Con is likely to increase as well.
