Hamas strongly rejects Trump’s idea to ‘clean out’ Gaza
The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has rejected any plan by US President Donald Trump to remove Palestinians from their land.
Yesterday, US President Donald Trump expressed his desire to resettle Gaza refugees in Egypt and Jordan and asked these countries to provide shelter to millions of Palestinians from Gaza.
Trump said in his statement that everything has been destroyed in Gaza and Arab countries want a separate residential project. The transfer can be temporary or permanent, he added.
According to foreign media reports, Hamas responded to Trump’s statement by saying that it rejects any plan to remove Palestinians from their land.
The group asked the US to stop proposals that are compatible with Zionist plans. We reject all measures that conflict with the rights and liberties of our people.
Hamas continued to say that the Palestinian people remained steadfast in the most heinous Israeli acts of genocide. The Palestinians refused to surrender to the Zionist occupation army. Our demand is the establishment of an independent Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.
In addition, Hamas leader Basim Naim said that Palestinians will never accept such a solution. Such a proposal under the guise of Gaza reconstruction is not acceptable, he added.
On the other hand, Jordan also rejected the plan to expel Palestinians from Gaza.
