Gold Prices drop in Pakistan following international decline

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decrease on Tuesday, following a similar trend in international markets. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,700, reaching Rs286,400.

The price of 10-gram gold also dropped by Rs2,315, bringing it to Rs245,541, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold prices had already decreased by Rs300, settling at Rs289,100 per tola.

Meanwhile, the international price of gold also saw a decline on Tuesday.

According to APGJSA, gold was priced at $2,741 per ounce (with an added premium of $20), marking a drop of $26 from the previous day.

In addition, silver prices in Pakistan fell by Rs32, with the price of silver per tola reaching Rs3,363.
