- Complete legal protection during their employment in Azerbaijan.
- Full assistance from Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
- Access to legal aid through the Community Welfare Attaché at the Pakistani Embassy if the employer breaches the terms of the contract.
- Support for any issues faced by the worker’s family back home.
Steps to Register for Azerbaijan Visa Protector
For those securing employment directly in Azerbaijan, the process to get their service agreement protected includes several key steps:
Documentation Submission: The first step involves submitting essential documents for verification, including:
- A valid passport and visa as per Azerbaijan’s requirements.
- A valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or a photocopy.
- A signed employment contract or an employer’s undertaking.
- Receipts for the registration fee, welfare fund, and emigration promotion fee.
- A certificate of insurance from State Life Insurance Corporation.
- A medical fitness report from approved medical centers.
Protector Sticker: After document verification, the worker will attend an orientation session. A registration number is assigned, and a Protector Sticker is placed on the passport. The case is then forwarded to the Protector of Emigrants.
Emigrant Office Signature: The Protector of Emigrants officer will sign the passport, and the passport will be ready for delivery after the formalities are completed.
Protector Fees for Azerbaijan Work Visa
As of February 2025, the total fee for protection services required for direct employment in Azerbaijan is Rs9,200. This includes:
- Rs4,000 for the OPF Fund
- Rs2,500 for the insurance premium
- Rs2,500 for registration
- Rs200 for the OEC fee
