MBBS private college admission list Punjab 2025

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has officially unveiled the second selection list for MBBS admissions to 32 private medical colleges in Punjab for the 2025-26 academic session. This announcement brings a wave of excitement and anticipation for candidates awaiting their placements.

Second Selection List Details and Fee Submission Deadline

A total of 1,744 MBBS seats have been allocated through this round of selections. One notable update is the decrease in minimum merit by 4.17% compared to the first selection list. Students who have been successfully allocated seats in this round must submit their fees and complete their joining formalities by February 17, 2025.

Additionally, students who have been upgraded to different institutions are required to report to their newly allotted colleges before the deadline. The fees for these upgraded students will be automatically transferred by their previous colleges to the new institutions.

First Selection List Recap

Earlier this month, UHS had released the first selection list for MBBS admissions. The closing merit for different private medical colleges varied widely, with:

• Sahara Medical College, Narowal: Closing merit at 79.7343% (lowest)
• Sharif Medical and Dental College, Lahore: Closing merit at 92.8939% (highest)

The deadline for fee submission under the first list was February 11, 2025, and candidates who failed to comply with this deadline faced the risk of having their admission canceled.

Merit Lists and Admission Process

Before releasing the selection lists, UHS had also announced a provisional merit list that included 8,104 applicants for MBBS admissions in Punjab’s private medical colleges. The admissions are managed through a centralized system to ensure a fair and transparent seat allocation process for both open merit and overseas categories.

Students are advised to regularly visit the official UHS website as well as the websites of their respective medical colleges for the most up-to-date information on MBBS admissions. This will include details such as:
