Fawad Chaudhry slaps Shoaib Shaheen outside Adiala Jail

A heated argument between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry and Barrister Shoaib Shaheen outside Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail escalated into a physical altercation, during which Fawad Chaudhry allegedly slapped Shoaib Shaheen.

The incident occurred at Gate Number 5 of Adiala Jail, where Both Fawad and Shoaib exchanged hot words outside the prison which to a scuffle between them and they Fawad Chaudhry delivered a hard slap on the face of Shoaib Shaheen who fell on the ground.

During the altercation, both leaders reportedly hurled abuses at each other. Jail staff present at the scene quickly intervened and separated the two.

This was not the first time that Fawad Chaudhry has lost his cool and hit someone.

In January 2020, Fawad, then Federal Minister of Science and Technology in the PTI government, had “slapped” television journalist and anchorperson Mubasher Lucman at a wedding reception causing social media uproar.
