Govt decreases Petrol prices

The Federal government on Friday announced the reduction in petroleum products prices for the next fortnight, starting from March 1 (Saturday).

As per the notification, the price of petrol decreased by Rs0.50 per litre and it would now retail at Rs255.63 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel has also been decreased by Rs5.31 per litre, reaching Rs258.64 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of the kerosene oil has been slashed by Rs3.53. The new price reached at Rs168.12 per litre.

Light diesel also saw a price cut by Rs2.47 per litre, reaching Rs153.34.

The Ministry of Finance confirmed the changes through an official notification.
