Hamas refuses to extend first phase of Gaza ceasefire agreement at Israeli demand

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has refused to extend the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement at Israeli demand.
According to a foreign news agency, a senior Hamas official has said that Hamas does not agree to extend the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
He said the Israeli hostages will be released in a phased manner under a pre-agreed agreement.
The first phase of the Gaza ceasefire ended on Saturday. After which Israel stopped the entry of all kinds of goods, including food and drink, in Gaza.
Israel also announced a temporary extension of the ceasefire. This extension was proposed by the United States, but now Israel has taken a U-turn and stopped the aid completely.
Israel announced an extension of the first phase of the US proposal and demanded the release of all hostages.
However, Hamas called for a second phase and a full ceasefire, saying Israel would bear full responsibility for the consequences of the withdrawal from the deal.
Israel says Hamas should agree to a US plan to extend the ceasefire.
According to the ceasefire agreement, the second phase includes the release of the remaining 59 hostages, the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops and the end of the war.
