BISE Lahore English Paper 2025 for Matric Exams 2025

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially commenced its first annual matriculation examinations for the year 2025, kicking off today, March 4.

Encompassing the districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib, BISE Lahore holds the authoritative responsibility of conducting these pivotal assessments across its jurisdiction.

In today’s examination schedule, the morning session will witness candidates attempting papers in Arabic and Geography, whereas the afternoon shift will feature examinations in History of Islam, History of Pakistan, Woodworking, and Art & Model Drawing (Theory).

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated English Compulsory paper is slated for March 5, prompting students to intensify their last-minute preparations in pursuit of academic excellence.

English Compulsory Paper Structure & Timing

The English Compulsory examination is methodically divided into two sections: Objective and Subjective, collectively spanning a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The English Compulsory examination, often regarded as one of the more challenging assessments for both Arts and Science stream students, is set to be conducted on March 5.

The Objective section consists of 19 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), cumulatively worth 19 marks, with a strict time allocation of 20 minutes for completion.

Conversely, the Subjective segment is bifurcated into two distinct parts. The first section comprises short-answer questions, necessitating precise yet comprehensive responses.
