Mohammad Rizwan’s leaked chat with teammates unpleased officials
Pakistan cricket captain Mohammad Rizwan’s leaked chat he had during a huddle with teammates unpleased the PCB officials.
Rizwan during a team huddle after the India defeat said: “Nothing happens to the players, selectors and coaches will be relieved.”
The captains’ remarks unpleased the board officials.
According to the details, due to defeats against New Zealand and India in the Champions Trophy, the journey of the Pakistan team ended in the first round while the match against Bangladesh was washed out.
In the PCB meeting recently, a selector told the participants that when the players gathered in the field after the defeat in the match against India, captain Mohammad Rizwan told them not to be disappointed. Interestingly, one of the players who spoke in the “team huddle” had informed the selectors.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi was also not in favour of uprooting in a hurry, so the jobs of selectors and coaches were saved.
