Elon Musk announces Starship will leave for Mars next year

SpaceX founder Elon Musk has announced that his Starship rocket will leave for Mars at the end of 2026, including Tesla’s hominid robot Optimus.
If the mission is successful, human landings could begin by 2029, but 2031 is a more anticipated year.
Elon Musk made this statement on his social media platform X. Optimus robots will be able to provide general household chores as well as friendships in the future, and they will cost between $20,000 and $30,000, he said.
Starship is the world’s most powerful and largest rocket, which is an important part of Elon Musk’s dream of colonizing Mars. The 403-foot-high rocket is about 100 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty and will be fully reusable in the future.
