19 March, 2025 17:33

Google Wallet, a digital wallet service, now allows users to store their driving licenses securely alongside bank cards, tickets, passes, keys, identity cards, and passports. This new feature ensures that users have instant access to their driving license information anytime, anywhere.

The driving license, along with other IDs, is protected with advanced security measures, including encryption and personal authentication. Google emphasizes that if a device is lost or stolen, users can remotely erase their digital ID for enhanced security.

  5. Scan both the front and back of your license.
  6. Upload verification photos with front and side poses.
  7. Tap “Continue” and then “Done.”
