Masjid al-Haram’s post-iftar cleaning takes only few minutes

The administration of Haramain Sharifain is ensuring the highest standard of Iftar distributed at Masjid-ul-Haram.

According to the Saudi news agency, various measures are taken to ensure the quality of these iftars, including storing iftar in a clean place, freeing the ingredients of iftar from pollution and verifying the accuracy of its packaging.

In addition, the quality of iftar components is monitored and samples are sent to the laboratory of Masjid al-Haram, where microbiological and chemical analyses are carried out to ensure the safety of the pilgrims’ health.

The administration of Haramain Sharifain is distributing iftar to more than 200,000 people daily in Masjid al-Haram in collaboration with welfare organizations.

The process involves a team of more than 3,000 employees and more than 1,000 volunteers, which arranges 3,200 Iftar dastarkhawans daily, totaling 50 kilometers in length.
