Met Office’s forecast for weather in Karachi

The Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather in Karachi for the next few days.

According to Meteorological Department spokesman Anjum Nazir, the intensity of heat is likely to increase in the upper and northern areas of the country in the coming days while the temperature in the city can go up to 38 degrees Celsius for a few days.

He further said there is no possibility of rain in Sindh, including Karachi, but in April, May and June, there is a possibility of normal rain in most places of the country.

Anjum Nazir said that due to heat, the process of melting glaciers will be faster and the flow of water in the rivers will increase and the risk of drought will be reduced.
