Gold prices massive drop in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable decrease, with the rate per tola dropping by Rs2,000 to reach Rs318,000 on Tuesday. The price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs1,715 to Rs272,633, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This drop follows a global pattern of lower gold prices, associated with ongoing uncertainty and risk in the world economy. Last Saturday, and for just one day, gold had reached the figure of Rs320,000 per tola, following falling price in excess of Rs5,500 in a single day.

Globally, the price of gold fell by APGJSA $28 after crossed to $3,010 per ounce. In line with gold, silver also fell by Rs50 per tola to the price of Rs3,170. The prices of gold and silver reflect a shift in the market due to global market conditions.
