WhatsApp unveils another new feature for users

WhatsApp is testing an excellent privacy feature that users will definitely like.
Meta is testing an option called Advanced Chat Privacy in new beta versions of WhatsApp for iOS and Android devices, reports Wabetainfo.
With this feature, you can prevent other people from exporting your chat or automatically saving photos and videos sent by you.
This new advanced privacy setting will apply to both one-on-one and group chats.
When settings are turned on, no one in a one-on-one chat or group chat can export the entire chat history out of WhatsApp.
Similarly, photos and videos sent by you will not be automatically saved in the galleries of other people’s devices.
However, the report did not specify whether others would be able to manually store media files.
When this setting is enabled in group chat, everyone in it will be asked to turn on the advanced chat privacy setting by sending a notification.
However, turning this setting on turns off the Meta-AI chatbot in one-on-one or group chats, or at least in beta versions.
Although it is possible to stop exporting the entire chat after this feature, individual messages or screenshots can definitely be forwarded.
