12 April, 2025 14:27

The wait is over! Thousands of students across Andhra Pradesh can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the Board of Intermediate Education (BIEAP) announced the results for the 1st and 2nd year Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) today. After weeks of anticipation, candidates who appeared for the exams earlier this year can now access their scores online.

How to Check AP Inter Results

Students can visit the official BIEAP website — resultsbie.ap.gov.in — and follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “IPE Results 2025” tab on the homepage.
  2. Select either “2nd Year General” or “2nd Year Vocational” based on your stream.
  3. Enter your hall ticket number and date of birth in the login window.
  4. Click “Get Result” to view your marks memo.
  5. Download or print the result for future reference.

For added convenience, scores are also available on education.indianexpress.com after registering with a mobile number.

Exam Timeline and Key Dates

The 2nd year theory exams were held from March 3 to March 20, 2025, with practicals conducted earlier in February. Students who missed the mark need not lose hope — the board has opened applications for recounting (RC) and re-verification (RV) of answer scripts from April 13 to 22. Additionally, supplementary exams will run from May 12 to 20, with fee payments accepted at colleges between April 15 and 22.

A Look Back at Last Year’s Performance

In 2024, over 3.93 lakh students appeared for the general stream exams, with a 78% pass rate. The vocational stream saw a 71% success rate, with 23,000 of 32,339 candidates clearing the tests. While this year’s numbers are yet to be released, the board has assured a streamlined result declaration process.

What Students Are Saying

“I’ve been refreshing the website since morning,” shared Riya, a 2nd-year student from Visakhapatnam. “It’s nerve-wracking, but I’m glad the wait is finally over.” Meanwhile, parents and teachers are urging students to stay calm, emphasizing that results are just one step in their academic journey.
