Rajab Butt once again sparks fresh debate on social media

Lahore-based TikTok and YouTube star Rajab Butt is no stranger to controversy, but his latest move has reignited fiery debates across social media.

This time, it’s not about his lavish wedding, public feuds, or viral perfume launch—it’s a deeply personal tribute that’s dividing opinions: a tattoo of his mother’s portrait on his arm.

Butt, known for his flamboyant persona, revealed the ink as his second tattoo, calling it a heartfelt homage to his mother. “This is my way of honoring her unconditional love,” he stated, adding that he consulted religious scholars who deemed the act permissible (halal) under Islamic guidelines. However, he cautioned followers: “Don’t copy me if you believe it’s against your faith.”

The gesture, while personal, quickly drew backlash. Critics argue that tattoos are strictly haram (forbidden) in Islam, citing religious texts that prohibit permanent body modifications.
