Lahore: On charges related to the October 5 protest in Lahore by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)—which allegedly involved violence against police—an Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has issued non-bailable arrest warrants.
The court has ordered the arrest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, along with three other PTI leaders: Hammad Azhar, Saeed Sindhu, and Shahbaz Ahmed.
The warrants were issued by Administrative Judge Manzar Ali Gul on the request of the police. According to the police, the accused have failed to cooperate with the investigation and have not joined the inquiry.
