Abdirazak Omar, a 29-year-old man from Enfield, North London, has been charged with murder after a woman named Pamela Munro, 45, was found stabbed to death in her flat on April 19.

Police say the attack happened at around 7 PM in Ayley Croft. Emergency services, including an air ambulance team, arrived quickly, but sadly, Pamela was declared dead at the scene due to serious knife wounds. Omar was also charged with having a knife during the attack.

On April 21, police arrested Abdirazak Omar on suspicion of murder. Two days later, he was officially charged and is currently expected to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, who is leading the case, said, “Our team has been working nonstop since Saturday to understand what happened to Pamela.” He also asked for help from the public, especially from anyone who may have been driving through Ayley Croft between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM that evening and might have dashcam footage.

Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines said, “This has deeply affected Pamela’s family and the local community. Officers will stay in the area to offer support and speak with anyone who might have useful information.”

Pamela’s family is receiving help from police officers trained to support victims’ families.
