Williamson calls Babar Azam ‘favourite cricketer’

Former Kiwi captain Kane Williamson declared Babar Azam as his favorite Pakistani cricketer.

In an interview, he said that he has been in Pakistan for only a few days.

“I have had the experience of playing against the Pakistani team many times over the years, I have always enjoyed watching Babar Azam batting. He is a fantastic batter and presents a very beautiful game worth watching, so he has always been my favorite,” Williamson said.

He further said that there has always been an abundance of fast bowlers in Pakistan cricket, there are still many dangerous bowlers. Shaheen Afridi has been especially brilliant with the new ball.

On New Zealand’s many defeats in the decisive matches of ICC events, Kane Williamson said: “I can not say anything for sure about the results, but in some matches we have been in the best positions and have also achieved successes, then we have also experienced not being able to win by reaching the finals.”
