Samsung Galaxy A Series Price Revealed: Are A26, A36, and A56 5G Worth the Cost?

28 April, 2025 14:54

Samsung Pakistan has dropped the curtain on its latest Galaxy A series smartphones for 2025, and let’s just say, the prices are no longer pocket-friendly. Once considered the budget-friendly range, these devices now come with a heftier price tag, especially the ones packed with higher specs.

First up, we’ve got the Galaxy A26 5G (256GB), which will cost you Rs 85,000. It’s available in stores, online, and at Samsung’s official website – pretty easy to get your hands on.

Next, the Galaxy A36 5G (256GB) sets you back at Rs 120,000, with a few more bells and whistles than the A26 5G. But the showstopper of the A series is the Galaxy A56 5G (256GB), ringing in at a cool Rs 138,000.

These prices are for PTA-approved models, as Samsung Pakistan only offers phones that have passed through the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s approval process.

Over the last few years, more and more Samsung fans have been swayed by other brands like Infinix, Redmi, Oppo, and Vivo. Why? Well, it seems Samsung’s price tags and relatively fewer features aren’t as enticing as the flashy designs and packed features of the competition, which come at lower prices.

There aren’t any fresh sales figures available, but it’s clear that the presence of used Samsung phones is shrinking in the market, hinting at a decline in Samsung’s sales in Pakistan, largely due to rising prices linked to taxes and PTA approvals.
