33-year-old British Woman Dies at Ibiza Rocks Hotel Amid Second Tragedy in One Week

A 33-year-old British woman has died at the popular Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio, Spain — marking the second tragic death at the adults-only venue in less than a week.

Emergency services were called to the hotel at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening after the woman was found unresponsive in her room. Paramedics attempted CPR for approximately 40 minutes but were unable to revive her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local police, along with Civil Guard officers, responded quickly and have since launched a routine investigation. A report is being prepared for the court, though early findings suggest there is no indication of foul play. According to sources close to the matter, the woman had pre-existing health issues and was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator — a device placed under the skin near the collarbone to help regulate abnormal heart rhythms.

This tragic incident comes just days after another fatal event at the same hotel. On Sunday, a 19-year-old Italian tourist of Turkish descent died after falling from the fourth floor. Reports say she had just arrived on the island the day before and was returning from a night out. Allegedly locked out of her room without a key card, she attempted to climb across a balcony from a shared hotel area when she slipped and fell. Her body was discovered at around 9 a.m.

Authorities are continuing to investigate both deaths as the resort community reels from the back-to-back tragedies.
