Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Calls India a “Terrorist State”

06 May, 2025 15:34

The relations between India and Pakistan continue to worsen. On Monday, Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made strong statements in the National Assembly. He called India a “terrorist state” and warned it to choose between peace and destruction.

Bilawal rejected India’s claims about the Pulwama attack. He said that Pakistan had no link to the recent Pulwama incident. He accused India of blaming Pakistan to hide its own failures. “Pakistan has told the world clearly – we had nothing to do with it,” he said.

He strongly criticized the Indian government for what he called “irresponsible behavior.” He claimed that India always tries to put the blame on Pakistan without any proof. He also said Pakistan would never accept pressure from outside powers.

Bilawal spoke about Kashmir, saying the violence in Indian-occupied Kashmir is the worst example of state-sponsored terrorism. He promised that Pakistan would continue to support the Kashmiri people and fight for justice and freedom.

He dismissed Indian accusations and threats, saying Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism. Bilawal added that Pakistan has shared solid proof of India’s support for terrorist activities. He mentioned Indian links to violent incidents in Canada and Sri Lanka, calling them examples of India’s role in terrorism.

Bilawal also talked about the Indus Water Treaty, calling India’s move to suspend the treaty a “crime against humanity.” He said water is a basic human right and using it as a weapon is unacceptable.

He assured the nation that the Pakistani military is ready to defend the country. “If India does anything irresponsible, our army will respond with full strength,” he warned. He said all Pakistanis – whether Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashtun, Baloch, or Kashmiri – are united as one.

Bilawal ended his speech by calling for national unity. He asked the people to stay strong against Indian actions. He said Pakistan’s army, with the people’s support, is ready to face any threat from India.
