Weather Alert: Rain expected soon in Karachi

The weather is changing in Karachi and across Sindh, and people have been advised to prepare for possible rain in the coming days.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, a fresh wave of westerly winds has entered the northern and central regions of the country and is now slowly moving towards the southern areas. Because of this weather system, dust storms and heavy rainfall are expected in many parts of Sindh.

Today and tomorrow, there could be thunderstorms and rain in different areas of Sindh. Light to moderate rain is also expected in the outskirts of Karachi, which may continue on and off until Saturday.

In Karachi, the weather will stay hot and humid for the next three days. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 35°C to 37°C, which could make it feel even hotter due to high humidity.

The weather department has advised people to take precautions, especially during the daytime. Avoid going out in the sun and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Experts also say that rain in some parts of southern Sindh may cause a temporary drop in temperature, but overall, the weather will likely stay warm.
