PSL 10 remaining fixture update – PSL 10 major update on remaining matches

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) management has begun reaching out to foreign players to resume the remaining matches of PSL 10, GTV News reported Monday, citing reliable sources.

The remaining fixtures of the tournament were earlier shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after an Indian drone strike hit Rawalpindi Stadium, escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. Following the incident, and under the guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to suspend the league.

In a statement, the PCB expressed gratitude to the PSL franchises, players, broadcasters, sponsors, and partners for their support. “Cricket, while being a unifying force and a source of joy, must take a respectful pause when the country is facing such callous opposition,” the board stated.

According to sources, discussions are ongoing with international players regarding their availability. The PSL administration is also consulting with franchise owners as part of the resumption plan.

The schedule for the remaining eight matches will be finalized based on the availability of foreign players and will consider upcoming international cricket series to avoid any clashes. Final approval of the revised PSL schedule will be given by PCB Chairman.

Meanwhile, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has also been cancelled by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) amid the ongoing regional crisis.

Fans remain hopeful for a safe and successful conclusion to PSL 10 once the revised schedule is announced.
