Aurangzeb welcomes Pakistan-India ceasefire

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb welcomed the Pakistan-India ceasefire, made possible by Trump’s mediation.

The Finance Minister sees things moving towards normalcy, which is a good sign.

On Monday, improvement was observed in the Pakistan Stock Market, according to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

He stated that the recent tensions with India will not have any significant financial impact on Pakistan. He assured that whatever needs to be done, will be done.

Aurangzeb mentioned that there are still three to four weeks remaining until the new budget arrives, and it would be premature to comment. Regarding ensuring defense needs, whatever has to be done will be done, said Muhammad Aurangzeb.

The Indian decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty is unilateral, according to the finance minister.
