Israeli airstrike destroys clinic in Gaza, over 140 killed

In a new wave of Israeli airstrikes, a medical clinic in the crowded Jabalia refugee camp was bombed, leaving the building destroyed and killing several patients, according to international news reports.

The attack was part of an intense 24-hour military campaign by Israel. At least 143 Palestinians, including 13 children, lost their lives. Witnesses described horrifying scenes, with the clinic reduced to rubble and body parts scattered around.

These airstrikes follow the killing of an Israeli settler. In reaction, a far-right Israeli minister demanded the total destruction of a Palestinian town in the occupied West Bank, raising fears of wider military action.

The Israeli military hasn’t commented on the Jabalia clinic bombing specifically but says it’s targeting Hamas sites. However, Palestinian health officials and aid groups say Israel is deliberately hitting civilian places like hospitals and refugee camps, pushing Gaza’s healthcare system to the edge of collapse.

At the same time, Yemen’s Houthi group continues launching missiles toward Israel and claimed to have intercepted one in a retaliatory move. Their involvement shows the conflict is expanding beyond Gaza.

Meanwhile, Gaza remains in a humanitarian crisis. Aid routes are blocked, the death toll is rising, and ceasefire talks have stalled. International voices are calling for calm, but many accuse Israel of carrying out genocide in Gaza.
