Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that the violence perpetrated by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government against the people, who are fed up with corruption and lawlessness, is condemnable.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari telephoned PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha and inquired about the violence at the rally in Peshawar yesterday in connection with the “Save the Province” movement. The Chairman PPP congratulated the PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president for organizing the rally in Peshawar.
The PPP chairman said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government fired tear gas after being frightened by the peaceful protest, adding that the provincial government’s strategy of direct confrontation with the people would cost it dearly.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the scope of the Save the Province movement will spread to every corner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The PTI’s thug government will not be able to stop us.
