Rose West’s Son Stephen Welcomes Baby Girl – But Serial Killer Grandma Won’t Ever Meet Her

Stephen West, son of notorious serial killer Rose West, has become a father again at age 51. He and his fiancée Emma Bradley, a former model and now a nurse, welcomed a baby girl named Eden. However, Stephen has cut all contact with his mother, and it’s unlikely she will ever meet her new granddaughter.

Rose West, now 71, is serving a full life sentence in prison for her role in the torture and murder of at least 10 women and girls between 1973 and 1987, alongside her husband Fred West. She also murdered her stepdaughter Charmaine in 1971.

A Troubled Family Past

Stephen grew up in the house where many of the murders happened — the infamous 25 Cromwell Street in Gloucester. He has previously spoken about his father Fred, saying, “There’s a bit of my dad in me.” Fred West died by suicide in 1995 while in prison.

Stephen has been married twice before and now has eight children and is already a grandfather. Eden is his ninth child.

Relationship Tensions

Stephen’s relationship with Emma, who works at Gloucester Royal Hospital, has caused some tension within her family. Back in 2004, Stephen was sentenced to nine months in jail for having sex with a 14-year-old girl. Family sources say some of Emma’s relatives feel “uncomfortable” with him, and the relationship has reportedly created a rift.

Despite this, the couple is said to be planning a wedding in Newport this August. Emma has two daughters from a previous relationship, and the new baby joins their growing blended family.

Rose West’s Life in Prison

Rose West has now spent almost 30 years behind bars. Sources say she has given up hope of ever being released and recently changed her name to Jennifer Jones by deed poll. She currently lives in a disabled cell at HMP New Hall in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, due to poor health and difficulty walking.

Fellow inmates reportedly refuse to talk to her, despite her attempts to befriend them by offering gifts like vapes. One source said, “She never really leaves her wing and always has officers with her.”

She now spends most of her time watching nature documentaries, especially those about birds.

Public Curiosity Renewed

Interest in the West family resurfaced recently due to the release of the Netflix documentary “Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story”. Stephen and Emma are believed to have watched it together, though Stephen avoids discussing his past. A source said, “He doesn’t want to say anything because his main focus is the little ones.”
