Teen Model Tijana Radonjic Falls to Death in Parasailing Tragedy in Montenegro

A 19-year-old model from Serbia, Tijana Radonjic, tragically lost her life during a promotional parasailing video shoot in Budva, Montenegro. The incident took place on May 28, 2025, and has shocked both locals and tourists.

Tijana, from Novi Sad, was hired by an unnamed parasailing company to appear in a short video aimed at promoting their services to summer tourists. She had no previous experience with parasailing.

The shoot was meant to show Tijana smiling and flying high over the Budva Riviera, dressed in a bikini while being pulled by a speedboat. But things went terribly wrong.

Panic at 150 Feet in the Air

According to witnesses, Tijana appeared calm at first. She was strapped into her safety harness and listened carefully to the training given before takeoff.

But once she was 150 feet in the air, something went wrong. Witnesses said she began to panic and suffered what seemed to be a panic attack.

Footage from the scene shows her tearing at her life jacket and trying to undo the harness. She reportedly screamed, “Put me down, put me down,” before falling about 50 meters into the sea.

Paramedics Confirmed Her Death

Lifeguards and rescue workers rushed to pull her from the water. Sadly, paramedics later confirmed that Tijana had died from the fall.

The owner of the parasailing company, Mirko Krdzic, said he was deeply sorry for the incident. He claimed that Tijana had passed safety training and showed no signs of fear beforehand.

“We are shocked. I don’t know what exactly happened,” he told local media. He added that the equipment was undergoing a full technical check and that autopsy results are still awaited.

Family Disputes Claims

Tijana’s family is heartbroken. They are disputing the claims that she was responsible for her own death. One relative posted on social media, “You were brave to try to save your young life, but sadly, you couldn’t succeed.”

Ongoing Investigation

Local police and safety inspectors have launched a full investigation into the case. Authorities are reviewing the company’s safety standards and waiting on medical reports to confirm the exact cause of death.
